Festival Fun - September Edition
The warm months that we all know as Summer are coming to their end. That doesn't mean your fun filled weekends have the same fate. Festivals are a hot commodity when it comes to June, July, and August. People have the idea in their heads that when weather gets a little bit cooler, those festival fun days have come to a screeching halt. We're here to show you that they cleary haven't.
Here at NEW 2 MKE we encourage you to get out and enjoy the amazing things we have to offer in Milwaukee, and that includes music, food, and art of all kinds. Compiled below is a list of some of the many events happening in our animated city with something for everyone.
Harley Davidson 115th Anniversary Celebration
This is a name that is known around the world and its homebase is right here in Milwaukee, meaning this is an event you won't want to miss. There will be parades, hillclimbs, and community events throughout the entire city giving everyone the opportunity to stop by at least one night. Labor Day weekend: Oak Creek Lionsfest August 31 - September 3
This weekend full of fun is happening right now, so don't miss out! These few days can be filled with all of the carnival fun you can think of. With games, food, raffles, car shows, and carnival rides this event is the perfect place for you to immerse yourself into a weekend full of fun with your family and friends. Third Ward Art Festival September 8-9
Over 100 artists, beautiful art, oh and did I mention that it's free? This iconic art festival takes place right in downtown Milwaukee. With masterpieces left and right, art bingo, and live music it has something for people of all ages. Oktoberfest September 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, 29-30
Beer, brats, and bands. These three things are what you'll find when you take a weekend to venture out to Oktoberfest.
